Kevin Scott Norris Law was founded to primarily aid Marylanders in the areas of land use and estate planning. Kevin is a graduate of Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Prior to starting this firm, he worked for a transactional attorney specializing in land use, business transactions, and settlements. This experience allows Kevin to bring a unique set of skills to the legal profession.

In 2002, Kevin became a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in the state of Maryland. He currently sits on the board of directors for the Maryland Society of Surveyors. Having more than thirty-five years of surveying experience, Kevin is uniquely qualified as a lawyer bringing extensive knowledge and expertise in the areas of land use; land development; title review, zoning interpretations; construction issues; and much more.

Kevin is a lifelong resident of St. Mary’s County Maryland. After graduating from Leonardtown High School, he attended Frostburg State College, and finished his bachelor’s degree at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul Minnesota. Kevin is an adjunct professor at the College of Southern Maryland. He serves his profession by writing professional articles and providing continuing professional education to lawyers and surveyors. Kevin has served his community in a variety of ways: coaching youth basketball, baseball, and soccer; pastoring a church; and ministering at nursing homes.
